HPP’s brand new website offers an innovative way to shop online with bespoke functionality complimented with a stunning new design and layout. Hill’s Panel Products was formed in 1991 with the sole aim of supplying components to the furniture industry. Since that time the company and product range have expanded greatly to cover a huge range of full and processed sheet material, vinyl wrapped furniture doors and furniture fittings. Initially operating in the Greater Manchester area, this has expanded to include most of the country.

With their previous website only offering limited functionality, HPP were conscious to get to a position where they would stand out against the competition. HPP selected De Facto for the project based on their previous website developments and extensive knowledge of creating a successful e-commerce environment.

HPP’s new e-commerce website features improved intuitive navigation for better usability. The clear and simple mega menu initiates a clear journey for the user, from the image focused Home Page down to the content-rich category and product pages. The re-design creates more visual impact, using images to draw and retain the user’s attention.

HPP are now able to offer their customers more than what you might find on the average e-commerce website. By far the most exciting part of this lies in the bespoke product builders which allow users to select individual components and panels to build their own doors, including sliding doors from brand - Glide. User's can select each and every part of their sliding doors, which are then made to order. User’s are able to specify each aspect in the build process, from panel dimensions to decors, grain directions, glazing options and even custom hinge drill holes.

Full integration with their back-end De Facto ERP system means that once  an order is submitted, the operators in the warehouses receive it almost immeditately and can begin assembling the custom product.

When logged in, the comperehensive dashboard gives the customer full visibility of their order history and outstanding orders including the delivery status. Customers can rest assure that orders will be delivered accurately and on-time as they can be tracked from start to finish.

The new website, coupled with HPP’s ERP system from De Facto will undoubtedly drive the company firmly towards achieving their ultimate goal of becoming ‘the best supplier in the furniture industry”.
